Different Cultures, One Smile!: Shining Slogans Gallery
We are happy to announce that all partner schools have successfully completed our creative international activity:
“Different Cultures, One Smile!” – Shining Slogans Gallery & Slogan Contest.
Throughout this inspiring task, our students became true Cultural Superstars by creating short, catchy, and meaningful English slogans that reflect the heart of our project: cultural diversity, friendship, cooperation, respect, and learning English together. Students shared their original slogans on our digital board, and all contributions were collected in the Shining Slogans Wall, which will later become a special part of our Cultural Superstars Virtual Museum. Each slogan was more than just a sentence, it was a message of unity, kindness, and global friendship. Our students showed that even with different languages, traditions, and backgrounds, we can all meet in one place: a shared smile.
Student Awareness & Global Values
This activity helped students develop strong awareness in many areas. By focusing on culture, cooperation, and respect, they learned that:
-
Every culture is valuable and deserves appreciation
-
Differences make us stronger, not separate
-
Friendship and communication can connect the world
-
Words can inspire people and build peace
HISTORY & LANDMARKS: Cultural Postcard Exchange / Digital Album
As part of our History & Landmarks project activities, students from all partner countries successfully completed the creative international task: “Cultural Postcard Exchange / Digital Postcard Album.” In this enjoyable activity, students designed digital postcards to introduce an important historical place or landmark from their own country. Each postcard included a strong visual and a short message written in simple English, just like a real postcard sent from a journey.
A Fun Discovery: “What is a Postcard?”
One of the most exciting parts of this activity was the students’ reaction to the idea of postcards.
As children of the digital age, many of our students had never seen or used a postcard before. For them, communication usually happens through instant messages, social media, and digital platforms. So when they learned that people once shared travel memories by writing postcards and sending them across countries, they were truly surprised and curious. This activity gave them a chance to experience a beautiful tradition in a modern way through digital design.
Culture on Camera: Food Edition:Discovering Cultures Through Food
In this activity, our Cultural Superstars introduced a traditional food from their own country by recording a short video presentation in English. Each student prepared a 30–40 second video, sharing:
their name
-
their country
-
the name of the traditional food
-
why it is special and important in their culture
Learning Culture Through Taste
Food is one of the most powerful ways to understand a culture. While preparing their videos, students explored their own cultural traditions and discovered the stories behind their national dishes. They learned that traditional foods are not only meals, they are connected to:
-
family traditions
-
celebrations and special days
-
local history
-
cultural identity
By watching the videos from partner countries, students enjoyed a rich cultural exchange and noticed interesting similarities and differences between cuisines.
English Speaking in a Fun Way
This activity also helped students practise English speaking in a natural and meaningful context. Instead of memorizing long texts, they spoke in short, clear sentences and focused on confidence and communication. Many students said that speaking in front of the camera felt challenging at first but by the end, they felt proud and motivated.
Learning Cultures Through Music and Dance: Shared eMagazine Activity Completed!
As part of our intercultural project activities, all partner schools successfully completed the collaborative task:“Learning Cultures Through Music and Dance.” In this joyful and meaningful activity, our Cultural Superstars explored how countries express their identity, emotions, and traditions through music and dance. Each partner school contributed one creative page to a shared digital eMagazine.
Culture, Rhythm, and Identity
Music and dance are universal languages. Even when words are different, rhythm, instruments, and movement can connect people instantly. While preparing their pages, students discovered that traditional music and dance are not only forms of entertainment, they are powerful cultural symbols that reflect:
-
history and national identity
-
celebrations and community life
-
values, emotions, and traditions
-
joy, unity, and cultural pride
